Migration Infographic

Picture
This is an artistic representation of the Roseate Tern migration study carried out as part of the project using geolocators (C. Redfern in prep.). It was a truly a collaborative project between artists and scientists. The idea of using a map as a background for original sketches came from Paul and Katie Henery of the Niche Gallery in North Broomhill. Katie made the drawings and Chris Redfern, the lead scientist for the migration study, provided the insights for the migration routes, main wintering and stopover areas. This is also an appetiser for the incoming paper, which has recently been submitted to Ibis. Thank you all for the cooperation!
